64 posts	rhythm melody instruments lyrics vocal Smile Like You Mean IT is the reason I bought Hot Fuss. I heard Somebody Told Me and Mr. Brightside, and though "Wow. This band's really something". But then this song came along...and I fell in love with an Indie Rock band. This song is uplifting and depressing at the same time, much like almost every other Killers song. I still don't completely get this song, but it's truely unique and I cannot get tired of it. One of my favourite songs and definitely one of the best on the album. For all you "people" that aren't sure what genre The Killers are, it's indie or indie rock. Hell, it could pass for rock, Britpop, or alternative, but that's what makes it indie. I love this band!
